Someone I know is selling me a N3DSXL for around $70 to get ride of it
The shell is a bit damaged, but the main issue is with the joystick/main circle pad (left side of the console) : the left and up inputs don’t work, while right and down are fine
The touch screen is also a bit weird — it works when tapping, but dragging things around doesn't register well, maybe due to some liquid damage
I’m not sure if it’s worth buying and trying to fix it myself or if I should just take it to a repair, as it might cost me less than simply buying a N3DSXL with IPS on Ebay. I'm not a very tech savvy guy but i can build computers, replace screws so might not be out of my reach. As for the tactile screen, i don't feel its important as i already have other 3DS and i play DS games (which have tactile heavy) on the OG systems
Aside from that, everything else seems to be in great condition, the rest of the buttons and screens look almost brand new and top is IPS. Played it for a 1-2h and it seems fine
