Hacking Question mac address spoofing on cfw and or stock firmware?

Ive read some threads that say its not possible but i would think that if you have full access to your emunand you might be able to change it with a custom system app. if youre gonna ask me why its for bypassing internet blocking and such if you get blocked on your internet, also you might want a different mac address for other reasons that i dont care about but could be useful. If its possible i think someone should make a tool that can change your mac, it might be useful.

It is already possible to make your wifi mac change, but not to a chosen value.

I believe the only feasible way of doing such thing is by using incognito to patch the PRODINFO partition of your switch.
By doing so you hide your switch's MAC address if I'm not mistaken.

I started a thread on this a week or so ago. Conclusion so far is the ability to change the address, but it will be random between reboots
