Hacking M3Kaura 0.9 Beta 1 self-modified Quint-Boot

That font thing shouldn't happen because your Japanese font isn't even referencing the 1250 font file.

So it should be a bug that CP1250 is used for font.

What do you mean?

In your QuadBoot, /system/font/CP1250/ isn't original but the same as /system/font/CP936/
Why did you do so?

I replaced it so that you can view Internal Rom (Japanese, Chinese ) Names instead of ??????? marks, and it makes the font smaller, so that the Internal Rom Name fits more into the Big Box

I am using his file as the base for all the updates, so any mods he did to it, are in it.

1. put loader.eng, _system_/_sys_data/R4i.sys, _system_/_sys_data/r4_*.ext here.
2. run SakuraMultiBoot.bat
3. install r4irts.nds to M3 TF
4. install _ds_menu.dat, _system_/* to M3 TF from R4iRTS folder
5. install R4i.sys, r4_*.ext to M3 TF /_system_/_sys_data/
6. launch r4irts.nds from M3Sakura 1.1x

[Install Soft Reset]
1. open moonshl2/resetmse/r4_i.nds with hex editor, search R4_I, then modify it with M3DS, save as m3ds.nds.
2. put Kaura's g6dsload.eng here then run g6dsloadeng2loadereng.vbs
3. install loader.eng to M3 TF
4. install r4_i.nds and m3ds.nds to M3 TF /moonshl2/resetmse/
Please note this soft reset can be executed only from MoonShell2/MoonShell Simply.

Maybe I'm stupid, but I don't understand these instructions? Does it work with just Sakura 1.46/Touchpod 4.7h or do I need the quint boot? I want to try them but the quint boot has outdated Sakura/Touchpod.

1. Check my Kaura FAQ for non engrish translation
2. To update sakura, get the startnds.eng from 1.46 and copy it over to Kaura.
3. Didn't you say you weren't going to use Kaura?

r2 is too old. Use r5. It requires only to put all files inside bin/ to your TF.
