Hacking M3I Zero + 4.2

Hi all, I have a 3DS XL and was wondering if there is a firmware update to enable it to run on firmware 4.2.0-9.

I have been digging around but nothing much comes up.

If the M3I is no good can you recommend a cart which does work on the 3DS XL?

From what i have heard, The M3I Is dead :/ The Most reliable flashcard i have seen is the DS2, however it is kinda pricey. If you have about 35~40$ Though, i would go with the DS2.

Yeah, the M3 series stopped getting firmware updates a bit back.
