Hacking M3DS Real Frustration - Unable to get going!

Hi Folks

I've searched in vain and spent hours.

Just got the card and tried 2 different memory cards in it.

Tried the latest firmware and lots of other stuff.

When I turn on the DS with the M3DS in (With or witout the card) nothing special happens.

Just the normal menu with no game inserted.

Please help.

Children driving me mad!

card isn't making contact properly.

make sure the m3real contacts are clean, and try putting a piece of paper between the m3real and the DS.

If you put in the M3Real into the DS Slot and turn on you should see some response from the console (whether you have firmware on the microsd card or not). No firmware = black screen with some text regarding missing files, etc. Correct firmware = loads into Sakura or M3Real menu, depending on which you install (Sakura English Triple Boot v1.11x found on this forum is the suggested way to go).

Therefore, if you have no response, then your console is not recognizing the M3Real. My son had that problem with an R4 in his DS Phat, but no problem reading the M3Real.
