Remember that you need to enable the version.txt option in the Recovery menu too...

IIRC It doesn't since I can freely update from there unlike GEN D3 which needed me to use the recovery flasher.

The coder Torky has today released a plugin which enables it to you, the games to date, only one original firmware as of 6:20 were run, to play on a custom firmware. The plugin is yet in its infancy and therefore must be tested.

But according to various posts here prove Forum, it was confirmed that this plugin works with many new games. According to the developer, plugin also works well on the still ever-popular Firmware 5.00 M33-6, Custom Firmware Dark_Alex Creator

Other versions will follow, under this condition (statement of the developer):

A release of this plugin on other sites as pspking.de and is pspsource.de. PROHIBITED. If a copy of this plugin will appear on other sites, update is no longer follow and it is still a lot of planned features for future versions.

Install Instructions
- Copy the plugin into SEPLUGINS
- In game.txt add the line "ms0:/seplugins/m33_620.prx 1"
- USB into flash0/vsh/etc and edit version.txt to "release:6.20"
- In the recovery menu, make sure "use version.txt" is enabled
- Test your purchased games on CFW


Running PSN PSX/Custom PSX Games with this plugin enabled causes the PSP to freeze and shut down.
Disable the plugin before running those games.

SensMe & Digital Comics still won't run.

So is this better than Prometheus as you dont have to patch backups

Expanded the install instructions a bit for anyone who had problems like I did, tried to make it fool proof as I thought it was kind of vague.

- Copy the plugin into SEPLUGINS
If you've never used any other plugins, you will have no seplugins folder. Simply create one in the root of your memory card by right clicking inside the folder and select new-> folder, name it seplugins. Copy the downloaded file "m33_620.prx" to the folder.

- In game.txt add the line "ms0:/seplugins/m33_620.prx 1"
If you had to make the seplugins folder you'll have to make a game.txt file. Create a blank text document (right click inside the folder, go to new -> text document), name this file "game" without the quotes, open this new file in notepad and copy and paste "ms0:/seplugins/m33_620.prx 1" without the quotes. Save it.

- USB into flash0/vsh/etc and edit version.txt to "release:6.20"

Navigate to PSP:\vsh\etc\version.txt while your psp is connected to your computer and open it up. You'll see something like this

release:1.50:
build:376,0,3,1,0:root@psp-vsh
system:20182@release_150,0x01050001:
vsh4201@release_150,v11079@release_150,20050201:

Change the first line to release:6.20: (aka change the 1 to 6 and 5 to 2,

Completely turn off your psp by holding the power switch up for 3 seconds. Turn on your PSP while also holding the right trigger, you should see the recovery menu. It looks like this

Go to configuration and scroll down and make sure it says "Use version.txt (currently: Enabled)"

Would this let me play the PSN versions of FF8 and 9 without incident? I'm on 5.50 Prometheus right now and I'm told there are issues. And downloading the PSX versions is out of the question, every link I find is either dead, requires payment, or to the German version.

So nun die neue Version. m33_620 update

Die m33_620_user.prx muss in den seplugins ordner ABER nicht in die game.txt eingetragen werden. Das plugin läd dieses modul selbständig nach!

Getestet wurde bis jetzt nur auf einer psp 3004 mit custom firmware enabler 3.70.

Roughly translated:
m33_620_user.prx has to be placed in the \setplugins directory BUT NOT entered in the "game.txt" file . The plugin "m33_620.prx" loads "m33_620_user.prx" automatic
Only been tested on a PSP 3004 with CFW enabler 3.70

UPDATE!!: Using the update corrupted my save data...When I reverted back to the Beta version, I can use my save game again. this happened on MGSW and P3P.

i cant test because i decrypt & patch all my stuff.
