there are 2 skins inside the BACKING folder, one form New SMB and the other one from FF III. They look very nice!
Anyway from what I tried Starfox Command now plays fine when patched in FAST mode (tried 4x-reset-no trim) and the read/write speed of the SD card is better now. I've noticed it when I rebooted by DS to save the game, it did it faster than before.

mmm... I don't see these skins! how about a link to them? they sound nice!

nevermind. found them! cool!

You would need to repatch the game using the new version of the GM

Yeah I did. I downloaded the Rom again used the new version of game manager and used the options (Trim-Rom, Fastboot, 4xDMA, Software Reset), I have a M3 Perfect mini-SD with a San Disk mini sd 1 gig and a Passcard 3. Could it be the M3 or the SD card that I have?

The intro still lags for me too, using my M3 Perfect mini-SD with Kingston mini sd 1 GB + passcard 3 and firmare 27/27a (Yes, I did repatch the rom AND I use loader v27a). Try not trimming the rom, that improved it a bit for me, but at half of the intro it starts lagging again. Someone also posted this on m3-forum.com:

M3-MiniSD v1 Firmware 27

Sandisk 1Gb MiniSD

Formating methods and results.

FAT32 (Default cluster size)
Castlevania Test: 3 of 5 (4xDMA, Trim-rom, Software reset)

FAT16 (Default cluster size)
Castlevania Test: 3 of 5 (4xDMA, Trim-rom, Software reset)

FAT16 (32k cluster size)
Castlevania Test: 3.5 of 5 (4xDMA, Trim-rom, Software reset)

FAT16 (64k cluster size)
Castlevania Test: 5 of 5 (4xDMA, Trim-rom, Software reset)

There you have it! Format your cards with FAT16 Cluster Size 64k.

How to i format my card with a higher cluster size?

Go to: My Computer->Manage->Disk Managment

Select your SD card and right-klick "Format"

Volume Label: Whatever you like
File System: FAT
Allocation unit size: 64k

Ps.

I hade to repatch 0121 - Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow (U)(Legacy).nds with M3 Game Manager 2.7.

But after i tried this it improves more, but it's still not perfect (it starts lagging at a certain point). I also think formatting the card into FAT16 isn't advised, so I want to keep it at FAT32.

w00t It works now. No lag at all. Thanks man I appreciate it.

This is an AMAZING update! I have my card formatted to FAT, and after updating, the intro movie works perfectly! If only they would fix Megaman Zero's slowdown as well as not having sound after running the real time save menu.....of course, that will never happen =(

go to www.dualscene.net and download the correct CF update for v28. Keep in mind you might have to update in GBA mode (I did) because it freezes on certain versions of the m3.
