Hacking M3 Simply/R4 save

is there a way to convert your save on a M3 Simply/R4 back to an M3 perfect save yet?

The M3 simply/R4DS uses the same save format as the G6 & Supercard, only the files are padded to 512k. If the M3 Perfect uses the same save format as the G6 and supercard you just need to trim 256k off of the end of the file. If the Perfect uses a different format you'll have to trim the file then convert it.

Someone posted a link to a freeware file trimmer, I'll see if I can find it.

works great just converted my save off my m3 simply back to my m3 perfect.

is there a SC > R4/M3simply converter...

cuz the saves im getting are 256kb and the r4 uses 512kb...

i thought the m3 simply and r4 both have an app to convert sc save to there format? did you try looking on there site?

You just need to pad the original file to be the right size
