Hacking M3 Sakura Trouble

Hello,

I am using the english translated M3 Sakura on my M3 Real, but whenever I try to do anything, I get something along the lines of:

Application halted!!
Please refer [/SYSTEM/m3sakura/logbuf.txt]


Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

well, first of all you're not doing what the error tells you.

when m3sakura tells you to read logbuff.txt, READ IT!
the last 1 or 2 lines should say exactly what you did wrong.

take everything off your card and reformate it then put everything back on

Okay. It's just my .dpg movies that aren't working. My roms are fine.

What are you using to encode them and what settings are you using?

I'm using dpgenc.

What do recommend for settings?

Use BatchDPG instead. As for settings, I prefer quality over size, so right now I'm experimenting. I'm currently using these settings:

Some notes about resolution: Width must be set at 256. Sakura will crash when trying to play a video with a width of anything less than 256. For regular 4:3 aspect ratio, use height 192. For widescreen, use 144.
