Does the Fireware 3.9v have a Limit to how many files can be in the NDS game folder? I switched back to firmware from Sakura because some games wouldn't run in Sakura. Please help me!

There's no limit. Try reformatting your card if some games don't work... I've never had a problem with any games (Just the opening scene freeze in TWEWY)

Use the three-in-one loader so you only have to use the Real firmware for home brew. (kept commingled in the root folder for me, while my NDS folder has each game in a separate folder, which is easier to deal with in sakura.)

I must of had an older or unstable version of Sakura. I found another version that seems to run all the games I was having problems running! Thanks for all the help! [IMG]

if your talking about number of files limit in the root folder of a card formatted with FAT (FAT 16 is what fat formats in as standard) its actually 512 files total! [IMG]

and yes it could cause games not to load [IMG]

remembering here that 512 games will also need 512 save files so in theory your limit is 256 GAMES + 256 SAVE files = 512 total files in the root folder! added to this if you have less games and MORE homebrew etc in the root this limit is quickly reached [IMG]

for more format in FAT 32 but .... some games have problems with FAT 32 and freeze and will not load so the common resolve is format FAT and then just catagorise your files in folders such as GAMES, HOMEBREW, MUSIC, DPG,OTHER etc etc [IMG]

not only does this make things MORE organised its easier when looking for specific stuff to play/use at a later date [IMG]
