when i hold start during boot it just boots normally. i put godmode9 firm on it and even assigned a button to it but it is not booting.

how do i get it to boot

Just so you know payloads for some reason won't load if the luma boot.firm is on the CTR Nand so to fix you must move the firm to sdcard

P.S Assingning a button it was only possible on A9LH

on a different note would it be possible to transfer to cfw 3ds and install dsi game than transfer back to unhacked 3ds and keep dsi game?
do you like want to transfer the dsiware(i assume legit bought from eshop) from another 3ds to the cfw one, and keep it on the source system? Nope you can't as sys transfer will move all the apps. I suggest download it using freeshop something else

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

thanks but the boot.firm IS on the sd card
Well double check if a boot.firm is on the ctr nand if yes delete it, then if your payloads are in /luma/payloads
