I didn't mean the process, anyone can press a button. I meant actually reading what they are installing. Usually when they have to visit a "release" page on Github to get a file, they read what's there and learn more about what they are installing vs just doing it because the should.
In order to get cias for this you still need to get them from github smh

But there is no difference. They can do that with or without FBI.

Well if you read my reply above your post you'd see I mistakenly thought the .cias were bundled. I was wrong. Carry on.
What made you think that? The video in the OP even shows him browsing for and installing CIAs. Nothing was ever said about pre-bundled CIAs.

useful, probably. has no place in the rosalina module and adds extra real bloat? definitely.

there's no reason to include this in the original repository because there are much better ways to do this.

I'd love to hear how this has no place in rosalina? Seems to be a perfect fit to me. Wouldn't say a program that does the EXACT same thing is a much better solution. Honestly it comes down to preference. I can see why luma doesn't want to add this, but that doesn't make this useless nor "bloat". I feel like FBI is more bloat than this.

How do I get the version of Ntrboot where I can choose which .firm files I want to launch? Mine always launch boot.firm

Edit: Found it, boot9strap manager. Great fork, thank you @kasai07 !

The github link is down. Anybody mind sending the file? I don't need it personally but it's useful for people with rosalina crashes.

Goodnight/morning guys, I've been reading this thread and realize you guy have a whollllle lot of knowledge on 3ds cfw and luma in particular and just wanted to shoot a question.
I completed a sys transfer using the sudoku exploit and have successfully flashed cfw on my 11.6 n3dsxl. I followed the most recent guide on 3dsguides, namely :
and its here I have the issue where the rosalina menu wont appear. I've tried forhours, I can confirm I'm on Luma 9.0 and latest b9s, i can access chainloader etc (eg godmode) but for the life of me the L, down and select does nothing.
Is there any other way to install fbi?

Are you definitely holding them down at the same time, not one after the other? You can also inject it into health and safety. This https://3ds.guide/godmode9-usage should have instructions (under inject any app into health and safety).

Yeah I tried it all, pressing and releasing at the same time, holding for a little then a while. Tried h&s inject and have to say, to the guy a few pages ago who called it obsolete: thank god it's not. Much thanks man, i'm up and running.
