Hacking Luigis mansion 3 error lithium

A friend tries to install this game. Setup: Kosmos, fw 8.x, chain load so that Lithium can install xci files.

Only this game doesn't work: he gets error 0.... 8.... 0 error creating placeholder byte.

How can he solve this? Thanks.
