Gaming lost my fat32 format?

So i have reinstalled my xp, now i wanted to format my usb harddrive to fat32, but in the windows formatter i only can select ntfs, same with usb sticks, is there another good formatter for harddrives? thanks

Due to a limitation M$ implemented in XP it is not possible to format a drive that is larger than 32GB with FAT32 using the Windows formatter. A simple cmd command will do what you want though.



Open up cmd.exe and then type:

format /FS:FAT32 X:[/p]
Replacing "X:" with the drive letter for the drive you want to format.
 
You can do it. Just use the HP formatting tool and you're all set. I had to format a 160gb hard drive to use on a Linux machine.
