ok build log v2 - now with cable management

old case compared to new case, several inches longer, and about 6in higher

they sent a really nice screw box

taking a look around the case, plenty of rubber grommets, huge 200mm fan in the front, nice cable management in the rear

motherboard and psu installed

gfx card installed

case lights and psu shroud installed (this is why I saved my money and got a non modular design since I can hide all these cables now)

top I just used twist ties to secure the light tube

wire management in the rear, not the prettiest thing but its hidden, some wires just wernt long enough so I had to just run them across the tied up cables

side panel on and pc running

the front need a little of work, 5.3" to 3.5" bay converter already purchased, the silver box needs to be spray painted

and if you are what that silver box is, its a 5.3" spring loaded storage box

I use FP hard drive hot swap bays myself, but that's because I juggle drives very often (e.g. Fixing laptops) and need it all the time.

I got it on sale last week for $80, pretty amazing value for a full tower
my only complaint is the acrylic is low quality, creeks and scratches easily

but I found this but pretty expensive @ $22, I think I paid about $10 for mine, seems to be the same exact thing but has a plastic front piece where mine is actually made of metal

just a small update, got the converter bay installed and I attempted to spray paint the aluminum cover
it came out really crappy though, uneven spots, paint is all tacky to the touch, I used semi-gloss paint + primer, the spray paint just did not want to stick to it
probably just gonna end up sanding it down and redoing it then hit it with a thin coat of polyurethane
at least its black now

shoulda used an adhesive carbon fibre sheet or something for the tray . much better cable mamnagement than in your first tower.
