Looking to mod FFIII on Steam

I've been trying to find out how to do some texture and model edits for FFIII on Steam, but I can't figure out how.
Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?

i cant help you as i dont have it on steam and i dont know what files it uses, but i would guess that the game files are encrypted or compiled.

you would have to find a tool that is able to decompile those files. or can somehow inject custom code/textures/models in the game files
