Hacking Looking to get a new flashcart...

I currently have an Acekard2i I bought over a year ago, and haven't updated my 3ds since. Mostly it has been fine, but with Fire Emblem and Etrian Odyssey coming out in February things may change. After reading around some, I've come to the conclusion my Acekard is now useless if I want to play new 3ds games.

Right now, I'm leaning towards a DSTwo. Other than that, are there any benefits to using a DSTwo over a cheaper card? Will I have to worry about it not being updateable down the line, similar to the Acekard?

If I did decide against the DSTwo, what are my other options for carts?

The DSTwo is the ONLY cart that has not needed a new hardware model in order to bypass a 3DS update.

The DSTwo has save-state, in-game cheat toggling, in-game text reading, and a bunch of other fancy stuff like that in addition to more powerful (but still meh) SNES/GBA emulation.

Your only other preferred option is the R4i Gold from R4iDS.CN, though it has needed a few models to bypass updates every so often.

Pretty sure I want to get a DSTwo, I just want to confirm somethings first.

1.)Will work on the 3.0.0-6U 3DS firmware?
2.)Most of the tutorials I have seen have mentioned I need a regular DS or DSi to update the DSTwo firmware. In the future when Nintendo releases new updates, can I update the DSTwo on my 3ds provided I haven't updated my 3ds, and there is an updated DSTwo firmware?

1 - Yes.
2 - Yes. The updates with an older system are for the people who update their 3DS first. The Supercard usually releases updates within 24 hours to three days.
