Hi there.

I'm looking into buying a new laptop, as my current one is starting to show its age, and I was hoping to get a few suggestions on what to go for.

I'm not that fuzzy on brands, and my criterias are somewhat few, but I do have a budget of about 950 USD to spend, which does narrow it down a bit.

First off. If possible, it should be a propper 16x9 widescreen.
And secondly, a somewhat decent graphics card (Anything but Intel). It should allow me to play games such as HL2, C&C, wow and minecraft (Yes, my current laptop lags in minecraft...)
Thirdly. Ideally the RAM should be 4GB DDR3, but that might be pushing it on the budget I'm on, so anything around that target is fine.

Anything else is just gravy =)

Thanks in advance!

What are you exactly asking for? An address? A link? A number? A model?

You should specify so people can really help you.

Are you a traveling manager or salesperson? What are your special requirements that necessitate a notebook instead of a cheaper, faster, upgradable, quieter, and cooler desktop?

I don't have the space for a desktop as I have no desk...

@Ireland 1: Looks really interesting, thanks =)

I live in a one room apartment... My kitchen is 3 feet away from my bed, no kidding, so a laptop is really the only way to go. But trust me, I'd much rather build my own.
