ROM Hack Looking for ROM hacker for RPG Maker DS translation project

Hello,

Myself and a fellow translator are interested in translating the upcoming DS game, RPG Maker DS. However as we've never hacked or translated a DS ROM were looking for someone who can do the ROM hacking part. This is our first venture outside of PC programs and we would really like to provide an English translation for RPG Maker DS provided its hackable/translatable and can find someone to help with the hacking part. Like I said were completely new to this so any additional information is appreciated.

I know RPG Maker DS isint out yet but we would like to get a team together so when it is out we can translate it.

This sounds very interesting and upon the ROM being dumped i will have a look at it and consider helping translate it as i use the PC versionS alot!
So i could help with translation and basic hacking but remember if YOU are also going to participate you ned a Hex Editor etc etc

It's supposed to be out tomorrow.. and I think there's already a Japanese torrent floating around somewhere... ah well, anyways...

I could offer some help with translation and image editing, if you need it. Otherwise, good luck with the translation, as soon as you find someone willing / able to hack the game for you!

You know, you can very easily unpack NDS roms with NDStool, right?
It's actually really easy. I used it to start a translation of Xenosaga 1+2 DS, but got lazy.

Unpacking a DS rom really is that easy. Depending on the formats, editing it is the difficulty.

i dont think you need one! i have it on my flash cart unpatched. i just trimmed it. when i made the sav, i surned it off half way through! this for some reason let the game fun on my cart! (I have an r4i-SDHC)

All you need is a hacker, an ebay account and some money so you can get an japanese to english dictionary cause if an english version of the game was in the middle of a volcano the next place place you would see me is in that lava or me playing it at home if you were late.
