A couple years ago I was researching backwards compatibility development on the Xbox One. Obviously, this was before the announcement about the final BC releases and my research led down many rabbit holes while looking. On one page I found a post about a group of people working on a open source version of the Fission emulator that microsoft uses for Xbox and 360 emulation. The goal stated was to achieve 80% compatibility across both consoles. This sort of fits with the original xbox compatibility on the 360 when using rgh and hacked files. I have been looking high and low for this post and haven't been able to locate it anywhere. I'm fairly certain it wasn't on this site and I'm just hoping someone here might have seen it. Just to make sure I was clear this was in dev mode and not on the retail side. This also was supposed to use the original disk as DRM once it was finished.
