Hi, my little brother enjoys playing on his Acekard 2i but manages to erase games every now and then.

I'm getting peeved off putting them back again.

Is there any way of making them read only etc??

I believe AKAIO has an option in the globalsettings.ini that can disable the start menu and make it kid friendly. If you have a homebrew that can edit the .ini file, you can change it on the go (DSOrganize is simple enough to use for that), otherwise using a computer is fine.

If you have a child, you can lock the Start Menu which will stop them deleting games or changing the settings which are accessible through the Start Menu. To do this insert the MicroSD card into your PC and double click on the globalsettings.ini. This file is located in the __aio directory on your MicroSD card. Near the bottom of the file you should find the line:

Code:
LockStartMenu = 0
change this to:

Code:
LockStartMenu = 1
and it will lock the Start Menu.
