Most likely, u have been scammed, as far as being scammed can be called. IF the cart is black, no sticker, why buy it?

To identify the cart now is almost impossible, since you told there was a TTMENU.Dat, but you claim it to be a R4. People sometimes mistake 'flashcarts' as an R4, becuz it is one of the most used names for it.. So best guess is that it might be a CLONE no, wood will not work, You should go to linfoxdomain, and check if you have any luck by looking into the firmwares listed.

You have an R4iSDHC, from what I can tell. Wood doesn't work on it.

Yes I think it is R4 SDHC because I downloaded files from here http://www.r4new.com/download-en.htm and it is ok now.

Glad to here it's been sorted out now

- although just to point things out, your card MAY be called a 'R4 SDHC' but it is also know as a 'R4New' (in fact there seems to be at least another 2 'R4 SDHC' cards)
There also seems to be another card called 'R4New' and both this & yours have different 'loaders', which might explain why you had so much trouble

Still now you know where to get the kernel, just remember to make a note of the address
