Hacking loading bar

Hello everyboy,

I am using the ez flash v plus, kernel 1.86.
I was wondering if there is a way (upgrade, downgrade, plugin, ...) to add a loading bar (which display, 1%, 2%, ...., 100%) when you launch a nds rom.

the only way would be to implement this functionality in the next kernel version.
But hopefully the whole moonshell kernels will be replaced by a faster custom written kernel.
