Thats the current status (The checkbox needs to be replaced and I need to add a frame to the window):

I don't really have any motivation to improve the settings window at the moment. For me its the "easiest" and fastes way to set the settings for a game. Maybe someone else wants change it and have a better solution :D I'm stuck with this since weeks and decided just to commit now what I have.

You can't save the settings without launching the game.
You can't launch the game without going to the game settings.
I can add a "save"-button, but even with the "launch window" you can't start the game without going to the "launch window" ;)

Just a question out of curiosity.
How feasible it is to include something like a Force Full screen mode for Virtual Console titles?

It looks very nice

I haven't kept up with things as well as I should have, but I believe you'd need a Gecko type code or a patch to put in the rom config per-game as it is now. Reason being that the VCs are actually putting out a signal in 720p/1080p, with the 480i/p inside, similar to content on some streaming sites.

Correct me if I'm wrong please, I was looking at this at one time too.

Last commit : "installer: changed to single link launch" is working.
I tried it myself hosting all files in local.
First I get an race attack failed which reboot in settings menu.
Then I go back to the browser to launch the payload and it launched Loadiine gx2 immediatly.

Yeah my son asked me to do this to easier launch so I implemented it for him. Now if exploit fails it will go to the system settings and on success it will go straight to loadiine gx2 or hbl without the need of a 2nd launch of the web link (though I used the other exploit on it for him where it always goes into loadiine gx2 but that one isnt on the git ;)).

Thanks for everything you do with your mates, I'm french so if I can help to translate, let me know ;)

I was actually going to get on and ask about this today, to see if anything was still preventing us from doing a one time load when it's successful. I guess not. Thanks buddy!

...

Here's some MP4's I generated using this tool http://gbatemp.net/threads/tool-bin2mp4.417414/

If you can get HBL to work then make sure that you have set up the GX2 elf file on the SD.

The loadiine mp4 which I tried earlier still didn't work, but thank you so much for providing the homebrew mp4. I'm finally able to launch Homebrew and get into Loadiine GX2. The WiiU froze after I launched the game, but I'm sure that's something with the game files or folder structure. But you've provided the 1 file that made this all actually begin working. Thank you.

I'm just glad you got it going! I had to wade through a lot last year to figure it all out so I want to help when I can.

That app that I linked to can be used to make any mp4 from bin files. That way you can keep yourself updated to with the latest web homebrew. Most of the new stuff should come out in elf format though and you'd just use homebrew launcher for that. HBL is the only thing I ever launch from browser any more.

if you still end up having problems, try this folder for launching HBL i made for my cousins kids. I just threw other peoples files together. His 5.4.0 drove me nuts for a while. It's using yellow8's browserhax and works great self hosting for me. I set up their laptop as an access point and xampp since they dont have a router or internet and it works just as good as it does for me on 5.3.2 using xampp through my network.

put hbl on the sd card in the apps folder (the elf, not this web payload lol)

And after trying a different game, it loaded up beautifully. Kakluke & EclipseSin, thank you. On forums I try to read as much as possible and have never needed to ask for help due to how many times people ask the same questions, but your patience and willingness to help strangers is just great. My wife & nieces are very happy. 3 little girls can wreak havoc on physical discs... Thanks for linking to the mp4 tool, as I'm sure that'll come in handy.

There's been quite some movement here lately, could someone tell what is the latest compiled and stable version of Loadiine?
I got the 0.2 one before the multi-RPL changes were made.

Is it possible to have a step guide to launch tcpGecko with Loadiine GX2 (latest code got from here: http://calvinbui.github.io/) ? Thank you !
No real steps needed.
setup and Launch loadiine like usual.
just edit the generated (on first launch) loadiine_gx2.cfg manually to enable gecko as there's no internal GUI setting yet.

Unfortunately the PC i must use (Win7) is not able to connect to the WiiU: I launched tcpGecko with admin rights and I have unlocked it in the firewall for private and public connections... I really don't know how to solve that... any hint ? Maybe some needed re-routing in my archer d-link router ?

normally you only make sure you have the line
LaunchPyGecko=1

in your loadiine_gx2.cfg on the sdcard and make sure you got a version that supports it and then the connect should be easy

maybe you could try another game

I am using this version: http://calvinbui.github.io/ frequently updated from the github but I am still not able to connect... which port is tcpGecko using for the connection ?
