Hacking Load Games To Dash

You can install one game, delete from sd, install next

What should the data structure be to install from my SD Card?
FunKii-UI produces a install folder with a seperate game folder for each game
Wii U USB - produces a DATA -> USA -> with folders of DATA, ESHOP, GAMES, UPDATES

How should I have the hierarchy on my SD Card Be?

Aw snap, so the games I get through the other I'll have to rename folders/data structure?
Take the folder that has the files of a game of your choosing inside of it and place it inside of the install folder and you should be ok. The games files consist of .app files and .h3 files IIRC.

Only have to rename one folder, gees. Change data to install. Done.

You really should read more of the tutorials and guides and you will see how to do it. One q at a time is painful.

With USB Helper you can take everything inside of "USA" and move it to the "install" folder on your sd. Or just one at a time.

I recommend using ymod wup installer. It allows you to choose what folders to install.

What tutorials do you suggest I read?

funkii-u has it right.

I have a game with 3 folders
_Update
_DLC
Just Game Name

Do I copy over all 3 folders, or should the _Update & _DLC be placed in the same folder as the game?

Paste them all into install and when you get to whatever version of wupinstaller they use these days press install to usb.

You are making this to hard. Wii USB helper has a copy to SD button. Use it, it does a really, really good job.

^ This! It's really so simple! Download multiple games as you like with Wii U USB Helper by double clicking each game or holding SHIFT/CTRL while selecting multiple games and use the built in SD button to copy them in the right structure to SD.
On your Wii U use sigpatcher2sysmenu or Mocha CFW after every complete Wii U reboot (complete means your Wii U was turned off to that red LED or you launched system settings or vWii mode) before you either install games with WUP installer or play them from your homescreen.
You could edit SD:\haxchi\config.txt to set Mocha CFW to default. So everytime you turn on your Wii U you just tap Haxchi only once, wait a few seconds and start playing whatever you want.
Of course you would have to run the Haxchi installer again from your Homebrew Launcher for the config.txt changes to take effect.

@lordelan One thing I am not clear about is exactly what actions you take knock sigpatches off and need to be run again. You mention system settings and vWii, is that only with Mocha or Haxchi/CBHC as well?

@Daggot Honestly I think you should read ALL the guides as well as the Release OP for each tool being used at a minimum. Everything is changing fast and there are multiple ways to skin this cat. The problem with guides is they are out of date a day or two after they are written. For example rednand and Mocha might be for you but they might not. I personally don't need Mocha yet, but maybe i might down the road depending how far I want to take things.

Entering system settings or vWii is the same as turning the Wii U off. So all patches are lost and have to be applied again.
If you have an autoboot solution like CBHC (which I don't use right now as it's risky) I would say the patches are automatically applied every time you boot your Wii U and even everytime you get back from system settings or vWii.

I've read the OP of each tool that I use but if I don't need an update I don't usually go for it. I'm all for more safety options and stability with updates like CBHC has but I see no problem with the version of wupinstaller I've been using which is why I'm so uninformed in this case. Also I installed most of the stuff in my setup before there were definitive guides so this is from my personal knowledge and experience.

I just like the ymod wup installer because I can put multiple game folders inside of "install" and choose if I want to install them all at once. Very handy.

I agree though. You just gotta dive in and find what's best for you. Too much changing everyday.

Personally I use this path:
CBHC->sigpatched sysNAND

I have no need for mocha or redNAND
