Hacking lmp-ng Issues

Everytime i try to play a song on lmp-ng, my ds freezes for a while, and then the song starts playing after a couple of minutes. I'm pretty sure i installed it correctly. I use an m3 real and the Sakura English firmware.

I have another, less important question. Is there a way to adjust the ds light with the sakura firmware?

To adjust backlight on sakura hold L+x to increase L+y to decrease

Did you install the skin correctly? What version are you using?

im using 1.02. It doesnt allow custom skins.
