Hacking little help please?

This is my first time softmodding my Wii so here i go....

I ran Modmii followed the instructions it completed and downloaded everything succesfully i put the folder "COPY_TO_SD' or something like that went to load letterbomb on my Wii didn't work because of the missing Boot.elf files i then copied all the files in to the older on the SD card ran letter bomb again worked.

now i installed the homebrew channel it restarted,took me back to the homebrew channel

I'm now stuck on what to do next i have the follow things

Multi mod manager

Configurable USB loader

IOS236

PRIILOADER 236 MOD

Simple IOS PATHETIC

now on the second page it says HackMii installer

i don't know what to do now please help

Umm....ModMii would have generated a guide to follow. Just read that and do what it says.

edit:

i opened up ModMii Skin instead of the normal version i did follow everything what i wanted,I didn't want the shopping channel or internet channel i didn't select any of those....

now it created the folder copy_to_sd i coppied all those files from the folder to the SD card put it in,installed letterbomb everything went succesfull but not sure what to do on the homebrew channel here's a photo i just took of it http://img259.images...86957369210.jpg

after stuffing around on the homebrew channel i click configuarble USB loader get an error!!

the should be an html file\guide on your sd card, read it and follow it

how could i have missed that didn't know there was help in the SD card

keep getting an error everytime i boot up Configurable USB loader ERROR: custom IOS 249 is a stub

Part of the guide should be about installing cios on your wii. Looks like you skipped that part? It's what MMM is used for. usb loaders need cIOS to work. Most common are 202 222 223 224 from hermes and 249 250 from waninkoko and davebaol. 236 is important as well, as applications use it to install stuff on the wii nand. So, reread the html help and find the part you skipped.

I'm such a noob I think I was rushing these things,what if I use another loader?? thanks to everyone who is helping

is there a safe way to put the missing cIOS? and i used modmii skin it looks different from the normal modmii

All loaders work with those same cios. You have "configurable usb loader", "usbloader_gx" and "wiiflow" as most used ones. There is also Hermes uloader.
Installing a cios involves modifiing the wii nand contents. This is never 100% safe. As long as you don't get power failures during the process, you shouldn't worry to much. Never install any ios below 200 unless you really know what you are doing and why you are doing it.
So, basically, some good advice is: make sure you have a bootmii backup of your wii working nand. If you don't have that somewhere safe on your pc, make one first. Another good thing is having priiloader on your wii, as it protects your softmod against disc updates and online updates.
Multi Mod Manager is a good program to install cios wad's. I usually switch to ios 236 before I start a wad install. (Needs to be installed first.)

follow your guide and don't skip steps

If you have more questions, they should be accompanied by quotes of your ModMii guide and u should reference what part you're having trouble with

FYI, the output of ModMii Skin and ModMii Classic are the same (ie. after your done using your PC to prepare your sd card, everything is the same)

honestly i do't know what i done wrong,I don't know what parts i skipped/maybe i didn't but all i know is the USB loader isn't working & i keep getting an error

Then start over the guide; if you're unsure, then simply regenerate a new guide from ModMii saying that your Wii is a virgin.

I've done the guide again and usb loader is still not working i keep getting the same error i have replaced the files

did u complete all the steps?

That means, did u install the homebrew channel, bootmii and make a nand backup?
Did u install your custom list of WADs?
Did you install priiloader (and enable system menu hacks)?

If your answer to any of the above was NO, it means u skipped steps... AGAIN. And you should start from step 1.

It's a Christmas miracle,the kids are saved!!

these are the steps i done

1) opened the envelope letterbomb installed took me to the screen about if you payed for it you were scammed press 1.installed the homebrew channel finished installed bootmii
took me to the main screen.

2) done a nandback up it was successful went to the homebrew channel.
3) went to IOS5236 installed something

4) Priiloader stuffed around

5) Simple IOS patcher,patched something i think..
6) went to multil mod manager installed all wads which made it work,the problem was that i didn't install them!!

You would have known if you read everything and not skipped things. It's mistakes like skipping steps or not reading everything that causes bricked wii's.
