This is gay,so cool that it leaked,but gay that I cant play it because I don't have enough memory... >< I can only shrink the file 20 mb and I need it 1 gig or less. lol

The .cso with the video ripped is only about 170 mb.

If you get UMDGen you can remove all of the .bik files from the 'movies' directory in the iso, and that will shave off 1gb, bringing the filesize down to just over 300mb. The only downside to this is that you won't see any tutorial videos or lovely intro with Stephen Fry for voice-over.

It's not working for me on m33-6... I already used the eboot patcher and it still doesn't boot. Am I supposed to run it in .iso format?
mine's in ISO format (in case that makes a difference) and works fine on m33 using the guide:

* Go to File>File List>Import
* Choose Filelist.txt
* Select YES to forcing LBAs, then Save
* Rebuild your ISO

I tried that and it didn't work for me... I ended up updating to gen-d2. I miss the ms speed access though.

This guide has one major flaw , that if m33-6 users follow exactly, it will not work. When you decrypt the eboot you must press O in order to decrypt and PATCH for firmware 5.XX. Simply pressing X decrypts , but doesn't patch version checks and so the game will not load.

*Open .iso with UMDGen v4.00
*PSP_GAME -> SYSDIR -> EBOOT.BIN -- Right click , Extract Selected and save to ROOT of memstick.
*Run Game Decryptor and press O to decrypt and patch.
*Highlight EBOOT.BIN in UMDGen, and press DEL key
*Drag EBOOT.BIN from ms:\DECRYPTER\EBOOT.BIN from memory stick onto UMDGen window
*Click Save As, and decide ISO or other.

Simple , for those who don't want or need GEN D2

The videos are part of the game!
Try find something that will convert/play them videos, they are funny. Also very useful if you want to make levels.

I'm on 5.50gebD2, takes a bit to load, maybe 20-40seconds, but it runs through multiple screen while doing it.

If that is the case more often it would be not a leak but a crime by the game stores.

I just upgraded to d2 and it still took more than 5 minutes to get to the Level selection page. I am running the full iso too.

I'm on a ripped cso and it takes around 15 to 20 seconds to load when I just boot the game, and a few seconds in-game.

hassr: What brand of MSPD are you using? The Sony MSPDs are very poor in general compared to Sandisk. The 'gaming' MSPDs perform even worse IIRC. I have a GoW packaged 4G MSPD and it does take a few minutes to load whereas a Sandisk Ultra II loaded almost immediately.

I'm using a SanDisk 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo. I tried a CSO without the update folder and removed all the movies. Now I can start the game in 1 minute.
