Homebrew Linux or Windows o3ds?

I just want a OS on my 3ds for experimenting with random shit. So dont tell me its not possible because Ill just try it out

Just out of curiosity, would arch linux work? It has a 128mb RAM requirement.

Someone could try porting arch linux. If it works it has to be released as quick as fuck

But with such a little amount of RAM it's hard to do much of anything on it, so I don't really see the point.

Around 1995-1999, 64MB RAM or less was very common, and applications/games did not use as much memory back then. If the 3DS (old or new, doesn't matter) can run Windows at a decent speed, a fair number of games would be playable as long as they don't require 3D acceleration, which would slow things down horribly.

is there an operative system (that isn't windows 3) that does not require more than 256 mb of ram?

be cool if puppy linux could be ported to the 3ds or new 3ds
