PS1/2 Link to best CD-R for PS1 backups?

I've been having some major issues with burning ps1 backups lately. Can anyone with more experience in that area post a link (preferably Ebay or Amazon) to the best CD-R's for burning PS1 games on PS2? I think most info on consolecopyworld are outdated.
Back in my pirated psx game high days, I used many cdr brands.
Most brands will work but it's all about the burn speed (8x) and with program you use.
But my last burned psx games was in 2001...
