Almost one year ago, we reported that Ubisoft and Aardman were creating an animated TV pilot based on the popular Raving Rabbids video game characters. Today Ubisoft announced that they will now make 78 CG episodes, each about seven minutes in length and that Nickelodeon will then package three episodes together at a time to create 26 30-minute broadcasts. Nick will then air the episodes globally, save for France where France Televisions will air the show there and in other French-speaking countries in Europe.
The Rabbids will now join in the ranks of Spongebob Squarepants, The Penguins of Madagascar, iCarly and Victorious.
