I've read it doesn't work for most (if not everyone) people.

It's from Wololo, which is a respectable PSP coder, but I guess he doesn't have that much of experience in exploits

Nah Wololo said it wasn't him, it was someone else using his name. Also, it's just a crash, not really an exploit as of yet, if ever.

As noted above a crash is not an exploit...as it stands this amounts to nothing.

The tiff files were also just from research Wololo was doing ages ago before the 5.03 tiff exploit, I think he was trying to get it working on 4.20 the first firmware for the PSP-3000. He didn't actually release this at all labelled as a 5.50 crash/exploit... he was also credited for a PS3 crash as well which is pretty funny.
