As you can see its pretty much the same as the other LEGO games but with a Batman theme. I'm hoping that being a fan of the rich guy with a utility belt who cries over his parents dying a lot will be enough to make this fun for me. Would have loved to see some detective sections (as that is what makes Batman special for me) but rumour has it that Pandemic are working on a Batman game so I hope they'll make my hopes true.

ooooo i do hope there are going to be some gameplay differences from the other lego games. As much fun lego star wars is, it will get old if its just the same thing with new settings and not to mention different feel of the different franchises warrant for some difference in gameplay.

Lego Indy was great.

The best thing about Batman is that it won't have to limited to the movies like the previous Lego games were. They have even more freedom now. They even seem to have characters that have never been in a game before.

Yeah surprised to see Clayface there, looks like he can morph into other characters too.

One big problem with LEGO Indy as well as the "been there done that" feel, was the fighting but the characters are suppose to have more moves in this.

I was hoping for Poison Ivy (would be great if you control plants), Firefly and Reaper. There also doesn't seem to be Batgirl either, lots of baddies to control but not as many on Batman's side but then who the fuck wants to be Robin anyway?

Batman & Robin will also have different suits:

Batman

* Demolition Suit - This suit is designed to drop "Bat Bombs" and can be upgraded to drop 5 at once.
* Sonic Suit - Use this suit to shatter glass (to reach new areas) and deafen or stun and enemies.
* Shadow Suit - This helps Batman find hidden "Shadow LEGO" that can help during gameplay.
* Glide Suit - Includes the ability to glide in mid-air and throw smoke pellets at enemies to confuse them.

Robin

* Magnetic suit - Including magnetic boots to help Robin scale a wall or ceiling.
* Water Suit - This helps Batman and Robin out in the water levels.
* Tech Suit - With this Robin can hack into control panels and operate the objects they control.
* Gravity Suit - Gives Robin a vacuum to suck up LEGO pieces and deposit in a machine.

It is split, half hero, half villain. Hero will be based at the Batcave, Villain at Arkham.

I'm not sure if this having Batman in it is enough, especially seeing that the videos show that its virtually the same as previous titles.

My gosh, I'm fairly sure I'll LOVE this, I'm still playing LEGO Indy Jones, and loving that as well.

That looks pretty good. Big characters with bold bright colours. I like the look of the backgrounds as well. I've really enjoyed the other two Lego games (not the original Star Wars one though) hopefully this will keep up the trend.

I want Catgirl from Batman: Dark Knight Strikes Again in this. Maybe she can call forth a barrage of bat-boys as an attack.

Also, I want Firefly and Manbat in this game.
