LEGO 2K Drive offline fix

Hi,

Just got into Lego 2K Drive, sadly half way into the game I realised it's not possible to buy new parts, if you are not connected to the internet, now that's a real bummer.
Is there any fix for that?
Moded Rom, Cheat Codes or Something?
