Hi guys,

I'm trying to install a legit CIA with the following setup:

11.0.0.33u 2DS, soundhax as primary exploit, waithax for ARM11 exploit, and FBI for CIA install.

When I get to FBI 2.45, there's no option for installing the CIA file... It only show options for moving, deleting or copying the file.

Do you have some hint on how to do this correctly?

When you select your cia, the first option should be install.

Sure, as soon as I finish running waithax again.
this happened to me once, i think it might be because you load the waithax with the fbi built in?

i always load up waithax first then load fbi once its finished, because if you load the fbi in the waithax folder it will auto load the waithax first. if that makes sense/

Here goes the screenshot. I am running FBI 2.4.5 with built-in Waithax.

I'll try standalone Waithax, then FBI now.

Sorry I messed up the picture... But it only shows "Delete, Rename, Copy and Paste" as selectable options.

No problem. It's just kind of funny that you took a photo one screen too early to show me what I wanted to see.

At least fasthax will be usable soon and you won't have to wait so long for it to work.

It's not being recognized as a CIA for some reason. The CIA info that should be on the top screen is missing. I'm guessing it's a corrupted CIA.
a corrupt cia would still show up as installable though.
It would just flat out fail installation normally....

Actually, wait a sec.
I thought fbi couldnt install a cia, legit or otherwise, on anything above 9.5 sysnand? try NASA, its another installer, and to my knowledge was built for 10.1+

Thank you all guys.

Seems that running the embedded solution doesn't work. I had to run Waithax and the FBI in separate, so it worked.

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

also @BigOnYa im making some progress on my gdevelop project, implemented various mechanics

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
