Wait a minute, if that packaging you have is for Acekard2i, that doesn't make sense.

Shouldn't this packaging be for Acekard2:

And this be for 2i:

Any clarification? Since I'm thinking of buying one.
The AceKard 2i's packaging was changed a while ago. The ones I'm shipping out are the regular AceKard 2 boxes with DSi Compatible orange stickers on them.

where did u get your AK2i from to sell

Oh thank God, I ordered 2 of them and got the same packaging. I panicked for a bit. I can't test them at the moment b/c I don't have a DS.

Does not look legit, not atleast next to my 2i.

the bump shows alot on my 2i, the reflection from the sticker shows the bump alot.

the cartridge opening, should be protected by plastic sticks between each spot.

the packaging is not the same I got with my 2i (from DX about 2 months ago).

might be that they've changed it, and if it works (boots like a 2i, shows as a 2i) it is a 2i. Does look alot like the new acekard 2's though.

there are no known fake acekards. if you have questions about the build contact the team at [email protected]. if it boots the firmware and works, its an acekard. if it doesn't it might be another kit with the wrong sticker, which happens a lot recently =/.

-another world

Just brought an Acekard 2i as well (from www.Aria.co.uk) - I don't usually buy online from companies I've never heard of & usually only ones in the UK

I can say it came in a box just like in the photos on the first page, however it had an additional orange sticker on the front with 'DSI Compatible'
- It ALSO came with a rumblepack, not just the card - but had no Instructions or MiniCD with OS/Manual on (like another card I brought many years ago)

Haven't tried it on a DSi yet - it's on order & due to be delivered on official UK release date - but I HAVE had a couple of times when the DS locked up on booting up (the 'nintendoDS' fade-in screen) after I've played around with the Acekard options trying to figure out what does what

I suspect this may be because of the MicroSD card rather than the Acekard, it's a cheap 2Gb one made buy 'Apacer' that I had lying around, & the DSLite has been bashed around a bit - so the contacts may be a little dodgy.

As said earlier in this thread - if it works with the official firmware then I guess it's legit
