I see. How do you set the cpu clock to 1 in wii64/rice/not64? Is it the "pure interp" option under select cpu core, in the advanced general settings?
if you have the latest not64/wii64 1.3 the opton cpu clock divider is under the dynarec/intrepreter in the settings, its 2 by default.

I see, how do I replace the boot, dol files though? I installed wii64 and rice via the forwarders with wupinstaller, installing to nand. But when I put my sd into mycomputer, a search finds no boot.dol files for wii64 or rice, so they're not even there to replace?
The readme says "
For Latest Versions of Wii64
Place dol files
SD:/apps/Wii64
And use the old working Injects."

However, I don't have a wii64 folder or a wii64rice folder in my apps folder? I think installing via forwarder to nand made it so those are not showing on my sd card?
if you used a fowarder with the dol inside then those cant be updated, if you use dols that point to specifc files those can be updated.

the fowarders that i have point to sd:apps/wii64/boot.dol and sd:app/wii64 rice/boot.dol so i never need to change the fowarder and only need to change the dols.

What Pedro said just replace the dol files on your SD card for instance SD/apps/wii64
Just change the dol files and the injected version will boot the new versions without needing to reinject the latest versions

In this version 1.3 doesnt work goldeneye blacks screen for me
goldeneye works just fine on wii64 1.3 both versions, rice works best tough i tryed it myself, make sure you have the ini by fix94 1.2 recompile to use rice.

The older versions of Wii 64 I released work perfectly fine I made the update but I hadn't gotten to test myself but Goldeneye runs pretty fine on older Wii64

well works for me just as well on 1.3 so no idea why it doesnt for you.

I can only make it work on glide and it seems laggy and missing the sky
i see you are using the pal version? have you tryed the usa version? also the game isnt laggy it was like that on the n64 too, people are used to big framerates nowadays, but goldeneye played around 15-20 fps on original n64 at best

just tried the pal version on wii64 1.3 rice and it works just as well are you sure you are using 1.3? check the credits and it will say the version here is my video

make sure you place this ini file inside the wii64 folder in sd:apps/wii64 since the ini provided by emukid does not work this on does work

if those well dols are hardcoded in those fowarders then they cant be updated only reinstalled, i dont know where those fowarders came from so i will leavue the ones i have from ploggy, this ones only point to the destination so you can just update the dols in the sd card.

read the instructions i gave some other user

@pedro702

What is the recommended CPU clock divider (CountPerOp) option/setting for Wii64 1.3/Not64 for play on original Wii console (not Wii U)? As far as i've read (on your posts but also on Wii64's GitHub) and i think they are these are the meanings of these values:

1 = For when playing in an overclocked vWii (Wii U) by using a WiiVC forwarder with cafe2wii and sign_c2w_patcher
2 = For when playing in an original Wii
3 = For when playing in the Nintendo GameCube

there is no general best mode.

Some games even on wii with wii speed work better with cpu clock divider to 1 like toy story or even army men and more.

While other games with overclock and CPO set to 1 arent fast enough and work better with just overclock and leaving the clock divider on regular.

So there isnt an answer for all its a per game try really.
