Is anyone else having problems with genplusgx r502 no longer picking up a USB HDD? It's worked for me in every previous revision and compile posted here... Now I get an error for directory not found. In the meantime, I'll try regressing the revision a little.

update: 484 works for me, 487 and up don't, so I'm guessing the issue is the removed modules and lost IOS202 support...? Anyone else have this issue?
I have my roms on usb hdd and I can use them! Make sure you are using the latest hbc 1.0.8 and IOS58 to start r502.

Hmm, I do have IOS58 installed, and I am using hbc 1.0.8... Latest builds of tantric apps work for me using IOS58 for USB support... all of which leaves me a bit confused.

The new freetype 2.4.2 doesn't work with snes9xgx, I must use the older version... This can take a while.
edit:
Upload complete! Updated snes9xgx to 4.2.5 r639, vbagx to 2.2.2 r501 and fceugx to 3.2.3 r517

Compiled with latest libogc and lifat svn and the older freetype 2.3.11.

@all waiting people:
I also added latest smsplusgx r66 compiled with third party classic controller fix, latest libogc and lifat svn, have fun

this is always the same old story
USB compatibility through ios58 depends on the libogc version the emulator was compiled with
tantric's releases are official and therefore compiled with an up-to-date libogc
genplus is compiled by gbatemp users, which do not always use the last version of libogc

I think having a correct meta.xml (with no_ios_reload) might also helps

I'm always updating my libogc to latest svn before compiling something, so it should be no problem, correct? And it also works fine for me.

it seems your genplus build was uploaded the 16th sept, there have been lot of fixes in libogc since that date

recompiling with libogc 1.8.4 would probably fix this user's issue, I've noticed that USB compatibilty was very picky and unstable for a few week after they started using IOS58
the latest release of tantric, however are more recent and use the latest version of libogc which seems to have most bugs fixed

We are officially on 1.8.4? Thanks for the info, I can't see the official version number because i'm only using the svn, reuploaded genplusgx compiled with the latest libogc svn now, the 1.8.4 fixes should be integrated now, correct?

FIX94 I know you said that the analog sticks weren't a concern for you but do you know if your latest compile was able to fix your 3rd party controllers for the analog sticks? I was just curious...

Can anyone confirm broken DVD support in latest genesisplusgx rev.502?

I always get an unable to mount message.
If there is a fix, could someone post it?

Thank you very much.

What is that for a megaupload folder? That's not my folder and not matguitarist's folder! Please try my latest compiled r503 on Mediafire!
edit: The megaupload link is a bit outdated. I'm always uploading the latest revisions on mediafire, take a look.

Hmm...I've got he link from GBA Temp somewhere.. It was still in my favourites.

I've tried Your rev 503 of genisisplusgx.
I still can't get roms to load from DVD.
"the dvd could not be read"

Loading from SD works fine, but I've got all my roms on DVD together with my snes, nes and gba roms ( wich work fine ).
Is/has anybody looking into this isseu?

It would be greatly appreciated if it were fixed.

Thank you very much for your replies
