Last Splatfest confirmed to be Callie vs. Marie

The Squid Research Lab has confirmed a few hours ago that the game Splatoon is having it's last Splatfest on 2 AM PT July 22 to 2 AM PT July 24 (in almost all regions) and will be announced in-game and available to vote on July 4th. The Splatfest is also having a few changes in it's matchmaking routine. North America and Europe will both battle with each other, while Japan will battle itself still.

The showdown begins at 2 AM PT on Friday, July 22, until 2 AM PT on Sunday, July 24. This will be the last Splatfest extravaganza, and we’d like everyone to have a blast!

Splatoon's a year old and they're already closing down it's festival.
