Laser gun games?

Hi,
Lately I've been wondering if you could use any gun, mostly to play old games, on the Nintendo Switch. I've seen a few videos on Youtube (including a game called Chicken Range which comes with a gun, but apparently the aiming is quite bad).
I know you can use a wiimote on a Raspberry Pi (with a sensor bar, using Batocera), but do you know if that's possible on a Switch? For Retroarch, or just to play games like House of the Dead.
