Hardware Laptop suggestion thread

Medal of Honor: Airborne is very scalable, as is Bioshock

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of chernobyl is fun, if oyu go old sol, tr Deus Ex. Portal is awesome. Heroes of Might and Magic can be good for a trip. for the laptop itself, i couldn't help you much i never owned a laptop.

MOH: Airbourne is an awful game. runs on any system though.

doubt oblivion will run very well on that, could give it a try though.
check out vampire: bloodlines.
good single player game.

Oblivion will run on it, I've ran it on worser things, but never really played it due to time.

in fact i completed it on the PC, and i personally don't like it. its extremely linear and looks like crap compared to any other decent game.

What other game lets you choose where to "drop in" to the map (PUN INTENDED) and what objectives to complete first? How is that linear?

You can't compare it to Call of Duty 4, but it's much bettter than UT3 or Timeshift.

srsly guys, i'll pass my own judgment. the 360 demo was fun, so airborne is a "probably" for me.

just play what you play already, Q3A, forget the rest.

if you could grab Kingpin, try it, its old but one of best FPS's I ever played.

I just got Splinter Cell: Double Agent - it's very awesome! The graphics are amazing and it's very non-linear (well, in the levels that is. You can choose what to do and have to balance the trust levels between the different orginizations)

I didn't play either on the PC, just the xbox, so I can't really compare them. What did you play them on? I found the PC version to be buggy and the controls were complicated.

yeah they're all ports, and the earlier games were bad ports to say the least. quite buggy but i didnt mind the controls. after a while the bugs were sorted out though.
i had pandora tomorrow on the xbox and loved it.
had chaos theory on the pc and loved it, later bought it for the xbox to play on live and loved it.
double agent i played the demo on 360, didnt like it. downloaded for the PC, didnt like it. rented it for the 360, didnt like it.
