Homebrew Lameboy emulator not detecting GBA roms

I put the Lameboy emulator on my R4SDHC dual-core card. The emulator is accessible and launches. But when I get the black and white menu and browse every single directory, I cannot find my games. If I make a folder the folder is visible, but open it and nothing in there. What gives?

ROMS are in ".gba" format 2DS XL, 11.6.0.39-U, NO CFW.

Lameboy doesn't work with GBA ROMs. Use GBARunner2 for that.

Lameboy is a gb emulator, not gba, I guess, no?
