e3 came and went. I thought Nintendo clearly won e3 based solely on their release lineup, games that actually come out this year. many would disagree with me but this post isnt about that.

xbox showed a lot, they showed their entire deck of cards, the only problem is that there werent many release dates and everything was probably running on the $500 xboxx or some devkit of their future console, none of which would leave me to believe they would be able to convince people to buy a new xbox1 within the year. They then were basically begging people to order their 'gamepass'
sony had the same e3 the past 5 years with a few new unseen games sprinkled in that they didnt give two craps to convince people to buy. their future of games has been showcased already.

i took a look at nintendo and im looking at what they didnt show. im not going to talk about rumors of games that were supposed to be shown, im looking at their paid online service. What are they hiding? Are they hiding something? Why wasn't it brought up that in the fall they were going to charge $20 for an online service to play the current nsw 5-10 games. they didnt even bring it up once...

Virtual Console is no longer its name, its going to be called something else. Nintendo knows thats its the DREAM to be able to play wii and gamecube games on the switch. Are they bringing it back? They are reproducing the Gamecube controller, and im believing that it isnt only for Smash. We're only one year into the Switch and if i had to grade the year, I would give it a C. people recognise this console doesnt have the specs to last, but they also recognize the huge potential it can have with old games. They wanted to sell another 20 million units this fiscal year, everyone knew pokemon was coming but did nintendo think they would be able to sell 20mil with that version of pokemon they showed us? I really feel that e3 was just the beginning to what is coming up, I have this feeling that their announcement of the paid service will include other awesome things like gamecube and wii purchases for the switch, maybe even mother 3.

Its just food for thought, so far i havent seen anyone bring up that nintendo didnt even acknowledge the upcoming paid subscription and what might come with it. what do you guys think? what are the hiding?(not hidden LOL)

they already said everything they needed to say

20$ anual with acess to 20 nes games with netplay what more do you want?

also dont expect them to improve their servers lol, they will probably keep the same exact servers that lag and crap even if you pay for them imo.

I personally thought Nintendo's e3 was very boring very drawn out, I like the new pokemon & smash and that's all that really stuck in my head.

Bethesda won e3 for me personally good amount of hype, Microsoft did well they just hit us with game after game,
Sony tried to serenade us with music as filler while locking people to their console with fortnite.

problem with microsoft games is most of them were all multi-platform and the ones that weren't ill probably not be released until net e3 with 2 or 3 exceptions lol.

yeah very true, I'd probably choose PC over the console too, then again my xbone is used as an expensive netflix device these days

doesn't help that their exclusives get released all on pc with one rare exception... so the reason they have to make you buy an xbox keep diminishing...

e3 sucked entirely this year. It itsn't the same e3 we remember when watching g4.
