did you encounter the An error has occurred screen? I fixed it by formating the system and downgtade. It works fine

You people have no patience for him what so ever he is just trying to make it as safe as possible so just be happy someone is making something to help you downgrade easier than sysUpdater or do it yourself

Every time he has announced he was working on something, he's never delivered. It's always been dropped for whatever reason.

First time was understandable, because it was proven that what he was trying to do would not work. At least he tried.
Then he begins working on SNSHax, gets cancelled. Starts working on KernelTimeMachine, suddenly it's cancelled and re-purposed into just a menu that still uses the same memchunkhax2 as the current sysupdater does.

I'm done just blindly believing him. We've given him his chances. If he delivers then we'll start taking him more seriously. For now he doesn't exactly have a good track record.

Also I've already downgraded with sysupdater some time ago. All KTM will do is add a check to make sure your downgrade pack is correct and nothing is corrupted. Apart from that, it's the same as sysupdater. Risks are the same, just it removes potential user error. If you check your .cias with sysupdater to make sure they are correct, the risk is the same as it will be with KTM.

The reason it gets delayed is mainly caused by lacking of enough testing.
He asked for hard-mod to help him confirm the stability..
But seeing the post it seems he hasn't get enough guys to test it out with hard-mod.
Just to get a better no-bricking rate.
If yes impatient you can always hardmod, and backup the current system version.

I must admit it is delayed much time. However you can use the compiled version of the source code if you want, that's different with the SALT.
Seen you've already have it downgraded, if no problems with CFWs I think this is also useless for you.

Uh you might want to read a few posts up. apparently KTM will be released on sunday at the latest. Though from what i've seen others say; whether justpingo will deliver or not is another question.

As a programmer myself I would dare to say if a software took longer to be launched and this "extra time" was properly used to develop and debug the software, then this software would be better than a rushed solution based upon previously existing code.
Thing is, I can't guarantee how JustPingo was able to use his time on KTM or how skilled he's, but supposing he did everything in the right way and he have the proper skill I would say that using a extra time to turn the software more stable is a good use of time.
Also AFAIK we don't really know if some fails or weirdly downgraded 3DS and N3DS are sysUpdate fault or the packaging of the CIA used to downgrade (most people are using pre-packaged CIAs), or both.

kerneltimemachine never was cancelled and repropused.. it was always a menu for noob-proof donwgrading.

It works, you can use it if you want to take the risk. I wouldn't.
KTM does cleaner downgrades btw.
