Why would you get a hard brick with sysupdater and not KTM ? If you use the right updates files (full and for your region), there will be 0 advantage to use KTM over sysupdater, same crap. I'm a developer beleive me. This KTM thing is just to get people hyped.

Exactly. Nothing but needless hype. Because when has JustPingo ever tried to get people hyped for shit that didn't matter or that wasn't even real?

the ktm has dumb warnings on it its obvious if you turn console of while downgrading it will brick id just downgrade now ktm will not be any safer then sysupdater

Agree with cpas and jesus. I grew some balls and used sysUpdater as i figured KTM wouldn't do much. If you get the right files in the end the success rate is the same so why wait for KTM? Just upgrade as fast as you can so if you get softbrick (I got 4) you can get back to 10.3 and retry.

I ain't complaining about release date since I have no use for KTM but think about it : a couple more Tomorrows and you can say goodbye to your downgrade if you get a softbrick.

I don't understand why mods haven't locked this thread. We have means of downgrading and this "tomorrow" is consistantly rolled back. Its also being misinterpreted as a "fix all" when its not and physically can't be. Attention needs to be drawn away from KTM.

Well to be fair, KTM is still a good idea, its always nice to have more choice and a little "noob" check. If I had the time (a day or two) I would have maybe done it.

Its a fine idea, but is falsely advertised. Boot rates are worse according to people who have compiled it, and pingo himself.
And it will still have the same successrate for N3ds users.

Since it required ninjhax 2.5 to load, I'd say it wouldn't work (as ninjhax 2.5 has a minimum of 9.0)
But you should be able to find an updater to get from 4.4 to 9.2

Well I ask because I honestly can't. I've tried using rxTools in inject fbi to H&S app and it doesnt work, I tried installing rxTools latest nightly and that seems to fail, PastaCFW and miniPasta seem to require 9.0

I'm sure I'm missing something but so far it -appears- I'm walled off.

If you haven't already, you should try asking in the cfw section, they might be able to help

I can't confirm this, but if it's true (and I have no reason to believe it isn't) then please people, don't wait for JustPingo to keep making false promises and never deliver "tomorrow". Just be extremely careful and downgrade if you haven't before it's too late and 10.4 is out.

edit: eh, now that I think about it people have supposedly beta tested it. Either it must compile somehow, Pingo has a more complete version he hasn't posted yet, or he's lying.
I still don't change my stance. Downgrade if you haven't. Just be careful.

You're wrong, it compiles just fine.
Zlib is required because update archive (TTP file) is basically ZIP archive with special header.
