Sorry but, oh god, he sounds like anything but a lawyer, who i suppose studied and should have a better behavior than that.

So much for him talking about how "but meh piracy is wrong and you have no morals or ethics" when he shits all over yourself, loses controls easily and calls you and idiot repeatedly.

If ReSwitched kicked her out, then it is legit. I really doubt that they would kick a valuable member such as ktemkin over a hunch. They had solid proof. Here's what i gathered from this thread:

In the end, this is just sad. Shows how hypocrite people can be. I sure hope that @ktemkin doesn't get a single cent from this, and that she's shunned from this community until the end of time.
Kudos to @SciresM for handling this situation very nicely. Hopefully the work on Atmosphere can continue without too much of a hassle.

Scires is as much an hypocrite as everyone else. How can you call someone who pirates having no ethics or morals when you behave so bad over trivial issues. That's hypocrisy.

Your post is exactly what's wrong with this situation. We DON'T KNOW THE WHOLE STORY. So picking a side right now is just impulsive and rather pedantic. Chill. I'm not doubting Scires, but I'm also giving Kate the benefit of the doubt here. There's not enough for us to act on. To also say it's "legit" because Reswitched did it.. We all know how messed up they are.

This really isn't that much of a change from FG. Its just a long term waste (if it wasn't already fixed) for slightly less hassle.

Nah, he talked to Simon like in a manner of father. And he did it to save his ass. Doesn't matter how, but he could just ignore him, which is much worse. It's better to be rude to a man so he can understand how serious situation is. But he persuaded him to the very last, wasted own time (which i think he lacks of)

We do not know the whole story, but if one side is more "trustworthy" than the other, it's SciresM's side.
Remember that he alone isn't ReSwitched. All of the devs at ReSwitched agreed to this.

If so, great. But we do not know about the incoming "Mariko" system revisions. If this was disclosed to Nintendo/nVidia, i am 100% sure that the new revision will have this bootrom exploit fixed.

That'd be impressive considering we can barely track them down at all, and these things *just* appeared. These things usually take a little bit of time to really proliferate to the appropriate hands.

Also then I'm confused by his warning to not update.
