What kind of mods?I was wondering about this myself. Having a quick look at the save file and comparing it with a PC save they appear to be very different. Leading me to think the Switch save is encrypted. I'm not sure the traditional save editor will work for switch saves and transferring a PC save to the Switch definitely doesn't work as I've made several attempts already. On the plus side, many mods appear to work, so I imagine this will get figured out.
Jedi from the start seems to be working. I haven't gotten far enough into the game to test them all, but the mods I have in the override folder aren't causing the game any problems. I've got Reven's robes in there, but still have to get to the point where I can obtain them. What kind of mods?
yes, it does work. you need to save the switch savegame with JKSV, then take your files from pc and copy them over into the JKSV folder overwriting the existing files. then you can use the pc file on switch. but you have to overwrite existing files, new folders won't work. Also it only works from PC to switch, not the other way, which is odd and sad.transferring a PC save to the Switch definitely doesn't work as I've made several attempts already
So I've been doing some testing, and I can't seem to get any saves to transfer over and not freeze the game on selection. Also, the switch version of the save just crashes KSE, so that's not an option currently. How did you get the PC saves to work on the Switch version?yes, it does work. you need to save the switch savegame with JKSV, then take your files from pc and copy them over into the JKSV folder overwriting the existing files. then you can use the pc file on switch. but you have to overwrite existing files, new folders won't work. i hope someone finds a way or can create a simple editor for switch.
yep, weird it is. some user said it might be case sensitive. the only thing that worked for me was, when i copied the files of an PC save (not the whole folder) into an exisiting folder of saves on the switch, that i created through JKSV in before and let it overwrite any file. it didn't work if i made a new folder or only copied the .savEdit: Nevermind, it seems to be working now. Weird!
i replied to your post over there, cause it is only for character creation right? or do you have new codes that can change attribute points later in the game?I made some KOTOR cheats last night. You can modify the values of the skill points, health, and attribute points to be better for your needs.
Ya, just looking at the switch save in a hex editor it looks to be highly compressed and likely encrypted. So KSE just locks up when trying to load the save. I did start a new game on PC, edit the save, and successfully imported it to the switch, so it's a start.yep, weird it is. some user said it might be case sensitive. the only thing that worked for me was, when i copied the files of an PC save (not the whole folder) into an exisiting folder of saves on the switch, that i created through JKSV in before and let it overwrite any file. it didn't work if i made a new folder or only copied the .sav
however it only works from pc to switch. i can't get it to work from switch to pc. neither the game nor KSE can load the files. that sucks.![]()
You are able to change attributes later in the game as you level up.i replied to your post over there, cause it is only for character creation right? or do you have new codes that can change attribute points later in the game?
