ROM Hack Korg M01D replace standard instruments?

I really like the interface and the workflow in Korg M01D. But the instruments are a little boring imo. I would like to replace all instruments to make a chip sounds edition. Then there could be like 40 different NES, 30 different SID instruments etc.. Would it be possible to replace Korg M01Ds standard instruments? Hope someone is interested in this! =)

You have full control of the synth. Just modify a square synth for chiptunes.

But no. You are probably thinking about Korg DSN-12? We certainly don't have full control in M01D
