Know Your Temps info

For those of you that are new to the game, here are the rules:

• One user will be put on the questioning stand every two days (or so)
• Once that user's session of questioning starts, anybody can ask that user a reasonable amount of questions they want via posting on the thread
• These questions can be about anything. Personal life, GBAtemp/internet life, pet peeves, questions, musical tastes, "what if" situations...anything!
• Please try to post all your questions at once, in one solid post
• Upon receiving questions, the user that is in the spotlight can answer them at anytime, as long as it's before their time is up

This quirky little activity will help us get to know our fellow 'tempers even better in an exciting, chaotic manner! Those who have an upcoming KYT session will be notified about their upcoming session via PM.

We need to stop hitting unresponsive KYT threads. It really jams the flow. The last one took about two or three weeks before the person even replied (though they were legitimately busy, we could have knocked out a couple others in that time with a slight shuffle of the order). I guess this is to be expected near the end of the list though considering how long ago sign up was. Not everybody can hold interest in certain internet sites for a long period of time.

Prove me wrong when I say this thread is a waste of time, gameboy13.

I think before a KYT session starts the person in charge should PM them with a reminder one last time, and give them a day to respond. If they don't respond in time just move on to the next person on the list and get back to them when they're ready.

i think that, that is usually what happens. but TD hasn't been online since July 18. Vulpes should take over again.

Time. I don't think it's a matter of asking to be on KYT, it's really for the 'older' members of Gbatemp. Maybe if you're still here in like a year or two you may get a shot to get on KYT.

i think it's an annual event. sign ups are open in january, i think.

LeahLuv: To answer your questions, we'll finish up this "season" of KYT, and then take a few months off before we begin taking applicants for the next season. At that time, Dave or I (maybe even somebody else) will post a thread asking for volunteers. When we do, you'll be welcome to sign yourself up.
