ROM Hack kingdom hearts problem

i cant get pass day 149!!!!!! i keep getting stuck whenever i try to go into beast's castle!! i have used hex editing to patch it alr.
I am using dslinker

I'm past there (using an R4 card) with the hex editor. My ideas are (from my very limited knowledge set);

1) The rom itself is not complete. Doesn't make sense, but could be it.
2) Formatting problem for the DS linker works against you.
3) Rom trimming or the patch damaged the code.
